Glass Folding Doors F1

In the F1 glass accordion system, the panels are connected with hinges and move suspended from a ceiling-mounted guide, ensuring smooth, easy, and silent operation. There is no additional floor guide, and locking is achieved with floor bolts or locks.

Each panel has an aluminum profile at the top and bottom that secures the 10 mm securit glass — without holes or notches — using Salinox’s patented glass retention method (Patent No. 1004694).

Sealing is achieved with transparent polycarbonate or aluminum profiles between the glass panels, and with aluminum profiles with brushes between the edge panel and the wall. The glass-holding profiles (baza) also feature brushes on the top and bottom, effectively covering gaps and ensuring a fully watertight result.

Depending on the desired dimensions, the aluminum guide can be selected in two sizes: 60×53 mm or 75×72 mm.

• With the smaller guide, door panels can reach 90 cm wide × 240 cm high (max panel weight: 70 kg).

• With the larger guide, door panels can reach 100 cm wide × 300 cm high (max panel weight: 80 kg).

The F1 folding glass system can be manufactured with two to ten panels per opening.

Ideal Applications

The F1 glass folding door is an ideal solution for relatively small openings, such as shopfronts and outdoor areas of stores — generally, spaces that may need to be separated and used independently, safely and easily.

It is also recommended for indoor spaces, such as offices, since it operates without the use of parking, offering a perfectly elegant result.

• No parking required: Especially in indoor spaces, parking may be undesirable for aesthetic reasons.

• Design flexibility: Multiple configuration options are available, including centered suspension on the guide, suspension on one side of the guide, panels split left and right, or in combination with a hinged door.
