Glass Folding Doors F2

The F2 is a flexible folding door system designed for a wide range of applications. Its flexibility comes from being able to use an unlimited number of panels, and each panel can be isolated from the rest and relocated or stored elsewhere (essentially a “parking” space for the panels).

In the F2 system, each panel has top and bottom aluminum profiles to hold the glass in place. Each door locks with locks or floor bolts. The glass dimensions are adjustable, considering the floor’s shape and any other installation peculiarities. Movement is easy: rollers travel on a track mounted to the ceiling.

Panels can be parked in a predetermined space without requiring an additional floor track. Each panel is independent, allowing it to rotate and move into its storage space. Any panel can also be configured as a hinged / tilt-and-turn door (with an extra mechanism) so it can function as an entrance.

The aluminum profiles can be painted in a wide variety of finishes: natural anodized, stainless-steel look, and electrostatic powder coat, selecting from an extensive palette of colors and textures.

Sealing between the doors is achieved using transparent polycarbonate or aluminum components. Sealing between the doors and the wall is done via vertical aluminum elements that include a 13 mm synthetic insulating brush to seal small gaps, maximizing overall insulation and water-tightness.

Depending on size, the appropriate hanging/ceiling track for the panels is selected: either 60×53 mm or 75×72 mm.

• With the smaller track, panels can reach 100 cm width × 260 cm height, with a maximum panel weight of 70 kg.

• With the larger track, panels can reach 120 cm width × 320 cm height, with a maximum panel weight of 100 kg.

Each panel uses 10 mm safety glass (or 5+4 mm laminated safety/triplex glass) without holes or cuts — using a patented glass mounting technique by Salinox (Patent No. 1004694).

The F2 glass folding doors are an ideal solution for large architectural openings of any kind: store fronts, perimeter enclosures for pergolas or atrium’s, dividers for commercial spaces, offices, hotels, pools — basically any space needing adaptable separation.
