Glass Folding Doors F4

The Salinox F4 folding door system is an advanced folding-door system designed for spaces with high performance requirements. It is made up of panels that include double-glazed glass, framed with aluminum profiles for additional insulation and durability.

The vertical aluminum profiles are engineered to interlock (male/female sections), sealing all intermediate gaps. They also include rubber gaskets to ensure a fully airtight and watertight finish. The horizontal profiles are sealed using special synthetic insulating brushes. Between the wall and the panels there is an additional aluminum profile for even better insulation and a more refined look.

Each frame includes a locking system situated at about one meter high, so you don’t need to bend down. Each leaf (panel) can be configured as a hinged/tilt-and-turn style door to act as an entrance (with the addition of an overhead mechanism). These doors can be single or double leaf, and a closing return mechanism can be added.

Depending on the size, an appropriate aluminum track is selected to support the hanging doors: either 60 × 53 mm or 75 × 72 mm options are available.

• With the smaller track, panel sizes can reach 100 cm width × 260 cm height (maximum leaf weight 100 kg).

• With the larger track, panels can go up to 120 cm width × 320 cm height (maximum leaf weight 150 kg).
  Each panel uses 35 mm double glazing, which can be safety, sound-insulating, or energy-efficient glass.

For an even more complete solution, blinds (shutters) can be installed between the glass panes for sun protection. Also, a classic but modern look can be achieved by adding horizontal aluminum profiles along the height of the leaf panels to create the appearance of rectangular divided frames.

The system has many applications — from restaurants to enclosure structures like pergolas, buildings located near busy roads, hotels, nightclubs, concert halls, and others. Because of its double sound-insulating glass and aluminum frame, the F4 folding door system is suitable even for more demanding environments.

Design Flexibility
Total flexibility in how the panels are configured and where the panels “park” (i.e. where they fold/fold away) as well as in the number and dimensions of the leaves.

Weather Protection
Thanks to the double glazing, heat loss is significantly reduced and energy savings are increased.

High Aesthetics
Although this is a robust, high-spec insulation system, the F4 folding door retains a sleek and elegant design.
