Glass Telescopic Window RW90

The RW90 glass telescopic window consists of one or two movable panels that slide and park behind a fixed panel.

  • With two movable panels, the system operates manually.

  • With a single movable panel, operation can be manual or motorized.
The system combines a counterweight mechanism with an electric motor. The fixed panel can be positioned either at the top or at the bottom, depending on space requirements.

When the fixed panel is located at the top, electronic locking pins are used, and operation is strictly wired. The glass panels are framed and can be single (tempered or laminated) or double (standard insulated or energy-efficient low-E). The motor is housed in an aluminum box mounted at the top of the system, with dimensions 6.3 in (depth) × 3.9 in (height).

For larger installations, a larger housing box is used: 6.5 in (depth) × 7.9 in (height). For proper performance, the recommended maximum width is 13 ft (4 m). The aluminum profiles can be finished in a wide variety of colors and coatings (standard RAL, special electrostatic coatings, natural anodized, stainless-steel look, or wood-grain finishes).

This system is widely used in both commercial and residential settings. It’s ideal for enclosing semi-outdoor areas, offering weather protection year-round. When combined with energy glass, it also provides excellent comfort in summer. It pairs perfectly with structures featuring a glass roof, pergola, or canopy.
